Castleoak Annual Conference sees launch of £100,000 charity drive

The Castleoak Annual Conference 2011 took place yesterday at the Vale Resort near Cardiff with 122 colleagues taking part in presentations, workshops and even cutting a cd!

Foundations is Castleoak’s charitable arm and the Foundations Committee – made up of members of colleagues from around the Group – launched our adoption of Tŷ Hafan, the Welsh children’s hospice, as our chosen charity, along with our fundraising target of £100,000 over two years.

The Foundations Committee is busy working up a business plan around how this ambitious sum will be raised, including a charity cycle ride from John O’Groats to Land’s End in 2012, and the Castleoak Group has also agreed to matchfund money raised up to £10,000 each year. A cheque will be presented to the charity each quarter.
